ABOUT THE OWNER
Contempo Dance Club sprang from Lia Curfman's heartfelt yearning for a place reminiscent of her high school dance days, where she could gather with friends and dance simply for the joy of it. Unable to locate such a space, Contempo took shape as a mobile pop-up studio in 2018. Determined to create a lasting sanctuary, Lia embarked on a bold venture in 2020, founding the permanent studio for Contempo Dance Club. Here, women are encouraged to embrace their strength, express themselves freely through dance, and cultivate their passion. With a vision of fostering a sense of security, empowerment, and belonging, Lia aspires for this space to make you feel cherished, supported, and right at home, because you truly belong here!
